ARCA Carpintería is an artisan workshop in Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, Mexico. Every piece of Montessori furniture is designed and handcrafted by master carpenter Armando, built to the exact dimensions of your space.
We work exclusively with solid wood — pine or oak — with a non-toxic water-based sealant. No MDF, no plywood, no particleboard. Safe for the children who will use it from day one.
The Montessori philosophy calls for a child's environment to foster independence and autonomy: floor-level beds so toddlers can get in and out on their own, front-facing bookshelves so they can choose their own book, chairs at exactly the right height for their table. Every piece starts from those principles and is adjusted to your exact measurements.
