The triangle
Two rung sides joined at the top by a wooden disc that turns. Open it wider to sit low and stable, or close it to gain height. And it folds flat to put away.
We sell two kits: two Pikler triangles with their ramp, and the balance arch with its own. Each kit sets up several ways on its own, and with both you get six more setups that neither manages alone.

Curve down, it rocks: it is a rocker. Flipped over, the curve sits on top and it becomes a bridge to go over or under.
It hooks onto any rung of the triangle, and onto the arch too. One side is smooth and works as a slide; the other has cleats and is climbed like a ladder.
We sell kits, not loose pieces. Each one sets up several ways on its own; with both you unlock six more setups that neither manages alone.
Includes 2 triangles and 1 ramp.
Includes 1 balance arch and 1 ramp.
The ramps cross from one piece to the other.
The arch, curve down, is the first thing they use: the baby sits inside and rocks, holding on to the rungs. It is balance before walking.
See this setupA triangle opened all the way sits low on a wide base. It is for pulling up to stand, and the first rungs sit at just the right height for a first try at climbing.
See this setupIn comes the ramp. Cleats up, it is climbed like a ladder; flipped over, the same board is a slide. One accessory, and the piece has a way in and a way out.
See this setupThe two triangles join at the peak and a little house appears: climb on the outside, play inside. This is where the piece stops being equipment and becomes a hiding place.
See this setupArch, triangles and ramps linked together: up one side, across the bridge and down the other. It is no longer a piece of furniture, it is a course, and it changes every time it is rebuilt.

ARCA Carpintería is an artisan workshop in Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, Mexico. We build Montessori furniture with fixed specs, each piece handcrafted one at a time by master carpenter Armando.
Materials, stated honestly. Solid wood and high-quality plywood, with a water-based sealant. It is not one hundred percent solid wood, and saying so is part of why people trust us.
Fixed price, proven measurements. The measurements are already worked out, and you know the price before you message us.
Most children's furniture on the market is made from MDF — wood fibres bonded with resins. Here's why ARCA builds with solid wood and high-quality plywood instead.

Yes. The triangles join each other, the ramps hook onto both pieces, and the arch comes in as a bridge or as a step. That is where the setups on the circuits page come from.
